They're on a mission to revolutionize the way they think about mobility by providing data-driven solutions for connected cars. As a Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and building the systems that drive our cutting-edge infrastructure.

You will be serving as a Senior on a team of 3, and you will be responsible for integrating the application with a variety of systems and services and creating clean, user-friendly APIs and data streams for the frontend team. With your expertise in writing clean, modern APIs and integrating with legacy systems, you will be a key player in ensuring the application's success in this new and innovative field. What Will You Do:

• Design and develop the business logic and backend systems and services
• Work closely with Frontend Developers to design & develop functional, performing and complete APIs
• Produce high quality, self-documenting code by using TDD techniques
• Build integration and connection to existing systems
• Write both unit and integration tests, and develop automation tools for daily tasks
• Develop high quality, well-documented and official code
• Challenge idea and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions

Who are we looking for?

• You have at approximately 5 years experience as a backend developer in common languages and frameworks (Java Spring Boot with Webflux)
• You possess a deep knowledge of Object-Oriented programming and engineering principles like SOLID
• You have extensive experience writing and utilising autonomous services oriented RESTful API services and performance tuning large-scale apps
• You have worked with database systems, with knowledge of SQL and NoSQL stores (eg. PostgreSQL and DynamoDB)
• You can write effective unit, integration and API tests
• You have experience in working with Cloud computing services (preferably AWS)
• You are familiar with DevOps best practices, CI/CD pipelines (E.g. Github actions)
• You have worked as a developer as part of a cross-functional agile team
