Our partner has plans to innovatively disrupt the automobile industry by providing data-driven solutions for connected cars. This new infrastructure is regarded to be the future of mobility and will have a significant impact on drivers within the coming years.

In this new start-up digital business, they enable their people to apply the latest technologies to accelerate new product development to improve the life of drivers. Team members have the ability to start from scratch without being dependant on existing legacy systems. 

What will you be doing?

Our partner is looking for a Lead Mobile Engineer to join their growing team! This is an opportunity to have a real impact on a revolutionary project. You will become a part of the Tech squad while supporting the development of new products/services. During your time, you will have the opportunity to closely collaborate with the Product squad to design, develop, and implement the actual requirements for mobile devices. We are ultimately looking for proficiency and experience with the React Native language. Either Android or iOS experience is desired for this role! 

• Performs detailed technical design and implementation of complex React Native applications
• Elevates code into the development, test, and production environments on schedule and participates in code reviews and regular mobile developer meetups
• Directs internal and external resources in software development to deliver assigned modules
• Is responsible for troubleshooting production problems, root cause analysis, and debugging
• Closely collaborates with the product, design and engineering squads
• Actively engages in development activities associated with develop new solutions and refining current solutions
• Supports the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
• Debugs and solve complex issues by translating business problems into technical solutions
• Proactively contributes to build top quality engineering teams and technology practices

Who are we looking for?

• Strong experience developing mobile applications in React Native language (2+ years of experience)
• Strong experience developing mobile applications in iOS and /or Android (built and deployed to AppStore and /or Google Play)
• Fluency in interfacing and unit testing
• Comfortable debugging and working with object-oriented programming
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Has a demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App Store or the Android market
• Experience in developing and launching a React Native mobile application within the iOS and /or Android environment
